Charles F. Greene Homes has a community room, laundry facilities and a new playground. The site is convenient to downtown and major bus lines. Greene Homes has a strong resident association who have worked for, and secured, new parking lot speed bumps and new cable service options.

Modernization Plans:
In order to continue the Housing Authority’s efforts to provide the residents of C.F. Greene Homes with a decent, safe and secure environment in which to live and raise a family, BHA will be undertaking many interior as well as exterior upgrades. Some of the systems and conditions being addressed include, but are not limited to the following: integrated pest management, elevator, fire alarm and stairway upgrades, perimeter sidewalk and step replacement, and improvements to security throughout existing parking lots.
